What it does

Photograph your comic books with your phone. Seriously Scans identifies each issue, then builds a complete eBay draft listing — title, description, item specifics, photos and a price comparison from comparable listings — and shows it to you for review. You set the grade yourself and list it when you're ready. Until you do, nothing exists on eBay and nothing is for sale.

Seriously Scans never lists anything for sale on its own. Publishing is always a person's decision: one item at a time, on a listing you have read, with the condition set by your hand. There is no bulk publish and no automatic publish, and the app will never grade a book for you. That is not a limitation we plan to remove — the machine does the tedious part, you keep the decision to sell.

How we handle pricing data

Seriously Scans never sets a price. We show you what comparable copies are listed at. You decide what your book is worth, and you type the number.

For sold history, we send you to eBay and do no math on it. Want to know what copies actually sold for? We give you a link to eBay's own sold-listings search and you read it there, on eBay. We do not fetch, parse, average, aggregate or store sold prices, and we derive no number from them.

For active listings, we compute — narrowly. For the one issue you are listing, we ask eBay what comparable copies are currently listed at and show you a median, a range, and how many we found. Those are asking prices, not sales, and we say so on screen — sellers ask what they hope for, and real sold prices usually run lower. The comparison is for your listing only: never aggregated across a category, never combined across sellers, never republished or sold. It is cached briefly per comic issue so we do not re-query eBay for the same book, then discarded — not retained as a dataset.

What connecting your eBay account allows

Create a listing in your account when you review one and list it.
Publish a draft you have reviewed — only the one you chose, only when you press publish, and only with a condition you set yourself.
Read recent public sold and active listings to suggest a price.

What it cannot do

Publish a listing, end one, or change a listing that is already live.
Touch your existing inventory, orders, or feedback.
See or move money — no access to payments, payouts or your bank details.

You can disconnect at any time from inside the app, or from eBay's third-party app access page. Disconnecting deletes the stored credential immediately; drafts already in your Seller Hub are untouched and remain yours.

Your data

Your photos live in your own Google Drive — not on our servers. The app uses Google's narrowest Drive permission, so it can only see the folders it creates or that you explicitly pick.
Your eBay credentials are stored encrypted at rest, and used only to create drafts you approved.
eBay account-deletion notices are honored automatically — if you close your eBay account, the eBay data we hold for it is deleted without you asking.
